Diane Keaton dead at 79

 

Hollywood has lost a legendary actress.

Diane Keaton died at age 79. People confirmed the news on Saturday, saying she passed away in California. A family spokesperson told the outlet that there are no further details about his death at this time and that his loved ones are asking for privacy. The cause of death is currently unknown.

As Perezcious readers will know, Diane rose to fame in the 1970s for her role as Kay Adams, the girlfriend of Al PacinoMichael Corleone, in The godfather films. She went on to star in several major films, including Annie Hall, for which she won a Oscar for Best Actress. She also worked on Father of the bride franchise, The First Wives Club, Finding Dory, Book Club (and its sequel) and much more.
