Accompanied by her beloved dog Reggie, Diane Keaton showed no sign of ill health as she promoted National Pet Day with Instagram followers in April.
But it would prove to be her last post, with the legendary actress’s sudden death at the age of 79 confirmed by a family spokesperson on Saturday evening.
While details were not immediately available, it was known that Keaton, a Hollywood icon whose numerous screen credits include Annie Hall, The Godfather and The First Wives Club, had retreated from public life over recent years.
Indeed, her last public appearance came at Beverly Hills restaurant Mr. Chow more than a year ago, when she attended an exclusive dinner hosted by Thom Browne and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Dressed in a smart check trouser suit, wide buckle belt and black suede Fedora, Keaton appeared to be on form as she raised a celebratory glass of wine while posing for photos alongside Browne.
The event followed what would ultimately be her final red carpet appearance at New York Fashion Week in September 2023, with Keaton among the celebrity guests as Ralph Lauren unveiled its latest collection at Brooklyn Navy Yard.

The following day, she was in the stands at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City as Coco Gauff took on Aryna Sabalenka at the 2023 US Open tennis tournament.
‘She declined very suddenly, which was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her,’ a friend confirmed on Saturday. ‘It was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit.
‘In her final months, she was surrounded only by her closest family, who chose to keep things very private.
‘Even longtime friends weren’t fully aware of what was happening.’
Just nine months before her death, Keaton was seen shopping in Brentwood, close to the sprawling property she once vowed to live in long term.
But three months later, the cherished ‘dream home’ was up for sale, a move that surprised many given her attachment to the property.
The actress, who had a passion for interior design and property renovation, had even written a book about her beloved home, titled The House that Pinterest Built.
After purchasing the home, she started a nearly decade-long project to renovate the house to her taste and preference.

The extensive eight-year renovation was completed and she only moved in back in 2017.
However, earlier this year, she put the property on the market and listed her bespoke five-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion for $29million.
In the book she wrote about her home, she revealed that the inspiration to purchase that particular property was the famous children’s fable, The Three Little Pigs.
She recalled her mother reading her the story when she was young and decided she wanted to live in the third pig’s indestructible home, which was ‘made of bricks’.
She wrote: ‘I knew I was going to live in a brick house when I grew up.’
In 2017, the same year she completed renovations and moved in, she did an interview with Wine Spectator.
However, she revealed she always had ‘an interest in homes’ but had always struggled with finding a place to ‘land and stay’ permanently.

While she was privately going through a health battle, she had listed her ‘dream home’ in Los Angeles for sale in March (pictured)

Keaton became a household name thanks to her starring roles in hit films such as Annie Hall
As for her final Los Angeles home with her own personally designed renovations, she said: ‘Something’s right, because I love it.’
For many years, the award-winning actress kept to a steady routine at her beloved home but had stopped going on daily walks with her precious pooch in the months leading up to her death, an insider told the outlet.
‘She lived in Brentwood for many years,’ the source said. ‘She loved her neighborhood.’
The source continued: ‘Up until just a few months ago, she’d walk her dog every day. She was usually dressed the same, with a hat and her signature sunglasses regardless of the weather.’
The source added: ‘She was always very nice, funny and chatty. She’d talk to her dog like he was a person. She was eccentric and had this old-school Hollywood aura. She was very, very special.’

She also portrayed Michael Corleone’s long-suffering wife in all three Godfather films (pictured in The Godfather: Part II)

As fans across the world continue to mourn Keaton’s death, the actress leaves behind an incredible fortune, understood to be in excess $100million.
As well as money earned through film, her property portfolio includes the Laguna Beach home she purchased for $7.5 million in 2004 and sold just two years later, for $12.75 million.
The actress also bought a home in Pacific Palisades for $5.6 million in 2012 and sold it in 2016 for $6.9 million, making another huge profit.
In addition, she purchased a home in Tucson, Arizona, home for $1.5 million in 2018 and flipped it for $2.6 million in 2020.
The late actress had two adopted children in her 50s, daughter Dexter and son Duke, whom she raised as a single mother. She never married so it’s likely her children will inherit the vast majority of her fortune.
Keaton was the kind of actor who helped make films iconic and timeless, from her “La-dee-da, la-dee-da” phrasing as Annie Hall, bedecked in that necktie, bowler hat, vest and khakis, to her heartbreaking turn as Kay Adams, the woman unfortunate enough to join the Corleone family.

Her star-making performances in the 1970s, many of which were in Woody Allen films, were not a flash in the pan and she would continue to charm new generations for decades thanks in part to a longstanding collaboration with filmmaker Nancy Meyers.
She played a businessperson who unexpectedly inherits an infant in Baby Boom, the mother of the bride in the beloved remake of Father of the Bride, a newly single woman in The First Wives Club, and a divorced playwright who gets involved with Jack Nicholson’s womanizing music executive in Something’s Gotta Give.
Keaton won an Oscar for Annie Hal and would go on to be nominated three more times, for Reds, Marvin’s Room, and Something’s Gotta Give.
In her very Keaton way, upon accepting her Oscar in 1978 she laughed and said, ‘This is something.’
Keaton was born Diane Hall in January 1946 in Los Angeles. Her mother was a homemaker and photographer, and her father was in real estate and civil engineering, and both would inspire her love in the arts, from fashion to architecture.
She was drawn to theater and singing while in school in Santa Ana, California, and she dropped out of college after a year to make a go of it in Manhattan.

The actress starred alongside a youthful Leonardo DiCaprio in Marvin’s Room (pictured)
Actors´ Equity already had a Diane Hall in their ranks, and she took Keaton, her mother´s maiden name, as her own.
She studied under Sanford Meisner in New York and has credited him with giving her the freedom to “chart the complex terrain of human behavior within the safety of his guidance. It made playing with fire fun.”
She started on the stage as an understudy in the Broadway production for Hair, and in Allen´s Play It Again, Sam in 1968, for which she would receive a Tony nomination.
Keaton made her film debut in the 1970 romantic comedy Lovers and Other Strangers, but her big breakthrough would come a few years later when she was cast in Francis Ford Coppola´s The Godfather, which won best picture and become one of the most beloved films of all time
The 1970s were an incredibly fruitful time for Keaton thanks in part to her ongoing collaboration with Allen in both comedic and dramatic roles.
She appeared in Sleeper, Love and Death, Interiors, Manhattan, and the film version of Play it Again, Sam. The 1977 crime-drama Looking for Mr. Goodbar also earned her raves.
Allen and the late Marshall Brickman gave Keaton one of her most iconic roles in Annie Hall, the infectious woman from Chippewa Falls whom Allen´s Alvy Singer cannot get over.

The film is considered one of the great romantic comedies of all time, with Keaton´s eccentric, self-deprecating Annie at its heart.
Keaton and Allen were also in a romantic relationship, from about 1968, when she met him while auditioning for his play, until about 1974. Afterward they remained collaborators and friends.
‘He was so hip, with his thick glasses and cool suits,’ Keaton wrote in her memoir. ‘But it was his manner that got me, his way of gesturing, his hands, his coughing and looking down in a self-deprecating way while he told jokes.’
She was also romantically linked to Pacino, who played her husband in The Godfather, and Warren Beatty who directed her and whom she co-starred with in Reds.
In 1987 she began another long-standing collaboration with Nancy Meyers, which would result in four beloved films starting with Baby Boom, directed by Charles Shyer.
Their next team-up would be in the remake of Father of the Bride, which Shyer directed and co-wrote with Meyers. She and Steve Martin played the flustered parents to the bride which would become a big hit and spawn a sequel.
In 2003, Meyers would direct her in the romantic comedy “Something´s Gotta Give.” Her character Erica Barry, with her beautiful Hamptons home and ivory outfits was a key inspiration for the recent costal grandmother fashion trend. It earned her what would be her last Oscar nomination and, later, she´d call it her favorite film.
Keaton continued working steadily throughout the 2000s, with notable roles in The Family Stone, Morning Glory, and the Book Club films.
Keaton was celebrated with an AFI Life Achievement Award in 2017.
‘I feel like it´s the wedding I never had, or the big gathering I never had, or the retirement party I never had, or all these things that I always avoided – the big bash, she told the Associated Press.
‘It´s really a big event for me and I´m really, deeply grateful.’
![The ‘Fire Country’ Star Is Just as Surprised as You That the Season 4 Trailer Revealed This Death [Exclusive]](https://ceaeng-uat2-nor.ey.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/03185573_poster_w780.jpg)
Land of Fire is no stranger to controversy. The hit CBS drama has been the target of fan backlash several times, but that hasn’t stopped it from delivering consistently entertaining stories. The upcoming season brings new controversy following the revelation that fan-favorite character Vince Leone (Billy Burke) no longer exists. “I was surprised,” series star and co-creator Max Thieriot told Collider Cristina Rabanete about the decision to reveal the death in the season trailer.
Although the answer to Season 3’s biggest question has already been revealed, Thieriot explained that everything was done out of respect for the character. “You’re not just trying to use the death of a central character as a cliffhanger and a gimmick. There’s a weird fine line there,” he explained. But who decided it was time for Vince to die? “I think it was a large group decision. A decision like this is not easy for anyone. It’s so complex and it’s a process,” Thieriot said. He continued:
“No one is above the show and everything is for the greater good of the show itselfwhat makes the show better and what allows us to take these stories even further and create good television, good drama and character growth. It was a long process to reach this conclusion. I don’t know if there was one person who said, ‘This is what we need to do.’ But eventually it became clear to everyone and the writing was on the wall that this was how things would probably go and probably should go.”
Killing off Vince wasn’t an easy decision for ‘Fire Country’
The death of a character as central to the narrative and to the lives of other characters as Vince causes a ripple effect. Furthermore, it is not easy to make a decision that affects someone with whom everyone has a close relationship. “It was also a strange and difficult conversation to have because Billy is so loved and an amazing actor and scene partner. This crew loves him. He really is like a family member and a father figure on set. The hardest thing is separating the personal from the professional part of everything, especially because you spend a lot of time with these people every day. […] For me, the hardest thing to digest was not working with this guy every day. I think it was difficult for everyone,” said Thieriot.
However, making difficult choices is part of life, but what matters is how they are made. To Land of Fireit was important to remain faithful to the character even in his final moments. “No one knows the risks of this job better than the firefighters and what their families can go through. It was important to show that he not only truly cared about this community and fighting fires, but at the heart of it, He cared more about his family. This was the center of his world. So we had to show that he was willing to put his own life on the line for those people, for everyone and everything he believed in and stood for and everything he loved,” Thieriot explained. As for how the show will honor Vince going forward, he explained:
“We also feel it was very important to have a big and impactful scene, returning in the season, this represented how much this character and this figure in this city is loved and how important he was. It’s multifaceted and it’s difficult. Moving forward, you’re constantly thinking, ‘Okay, How do we continue to honor this character? How can we continue to find growth and story for all these characters moving forward and what they all go through and what this community goes through in losing this figure?’ We have to find a way to make it a central part of this season without making the central focus of the season be grief. It’s that fine line between those two things. I think the writers are doing a great job.”
Land of Fire returns on CBS on Friday, October 17th. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

He’s kind of a guiding light for these films and the reason fans respond to the films the way they do is because Scott is involved in every aspect of them and I’m very grateful to him for that.”

Goldie Hawn is remembering his late colleague and friend, Diane Keaton.
“Diane, we are not ready to lose you,” Hawn, 79, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 11, hours after news broke that the famous actress died in California at the age of 79.
“You left us a trail of fairy dust, full of specks of light and memories beyond imagination,” she continued in the caption, which was shared alongside a stunning black and white photo of Keaton in one of his iconic hats and scarves. “How do we say goodbye? What words can come to mind when your heart is breaking? You never liked compliments, so humble, but now you can’t tell me to ‘shut up’, darling. There has been, and will be, no one like you.”
She continued, “You stole the hearts of the world and shared your genius with millions, making films that made us laugh and cry in a way only you could. I was blessed to do First Wives Club with you, our days starting with coffee in the makeup trailer, laughing and joking, until the last day of filming. It was a rollercoaster of love.”
THE Overboard the actress went on to share the plans the two former co-stars had for their lives in the future.
“We agreed to grow old together and one day maybe live together with all of our girlfriends,” she continued in the touching social media post. “Well, we never lived together, but we grew old together. Who knows… maybe in the next life.”
She added: “Sparkle your fairy dust there, girlfriend. I’m going to miss you so much.”
News of Keaton’s death broke on Saturday, October 11. A spokesperson for her family told PEOPLE that the actress died at her home in California. No further information regarding his death was provided, as Keaton’s family has asked for privacy during this difficult time.
Keaton and Hawn, 79, starred in the 1996 film The First Wives Club next to Bette Midler. The trio played Elise Elliot (Hawn), Annie Paradis (Keaton) and Brenda Cushman (Midler). The film also starred Maggie Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, Stockard Channing, Dan Hedaya, Victor Garber, Stephen Collins, Elizabeth Berkley and Marcia Gay Harden.
In 2015, Hawn explained why a sequel to the film was never produced, despite fans continually asking to see the trio back in action.
“We were all women of a certain age and everyone took a pay cut to do this so the studio could do what they needed to do,” she said. Harvard Business Review at the moment. “We all took a smaller-than-normal back-end and a much smaller front-end. And we ended up doing incredibly well. The movie was a huge success. It made a lot of money. We were on the cover of Time magazine.”
She continued: “But two years later, when the studio came back with a sequel, they wanted to offer us the exact same deal. We were back to ground zero. If three men had gone in there, they would have raised their salaries without even thinking about it. But the fear of women’s films is ingrained in the culture.”

Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton, Bette Midler
However, things appeared to change in November 2020 when Hawn hinted at the possibility of the trio reuniting for a follow-up film.
“The script needs to be approved and now they’ve given us another draft, so I need to read it,” Hawn, 79, said. Entertainment tonight on November 18th. “So we’re slowly moving in that direction, let’s put it that way.”
The film, which was never made, would have starred the original trio of women, as well as their children and grandchildren, after the man they married dies in a department store. In 2024, Midler said People the film was in “development hell.”
“It’s in the abyss where all good scripts go to die,” she added. “Fifteen years is the time limit, I think. When it’s been in development for 15 years, you kind of give up.”
Midler paid tribute to Keaton on October 11. “The brilliant, beautiful and extraordinary Diane Keaton has died,” Midler, 79, wrote via Instagram. “I can’t tell you how unbearably sad this makes me.”
“She was hilarious, completely original, and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness you would expect from such a star,” Midler wrote. “What you saw was who she was… oh, la, lala!”
Hawn’s daughter, Kate Hudson, also paid tribute to her mother’s late co-star.
“We love you so much Diane ❤️🕊️,” she captioned a scene from The First Wives Club via Instagram the day Keaton’s death was announced.

When you look back best romantic comedies of all timeone actress who appears in some of them is Meg Ryan. Of When Harry met Sally to Sleepless in Seattleshe is a generational talent and a megastar in this genre. Well, this is important because Tom Blyth, who stars in next adaptation of the book to the screen from Emily Henry’s romantic comedy People we met on vacation, recently compared his co-star Emily Bader to Ryan. And here’s the thing, I already agree 100% with him.

Fortunately, in the first few weeks of 2026 Movie Scheduleon January 9th, to be exact, we will see the first Adaptation by Emily Henry always, People we met on vacation. The film will star Tom Blyth and Emily Bader as Alex and Poppy, respectively, and people can’t wait to watch this friends-to-lovers romance with a Netflix Subscription.
So, in anticipation of the launch of People we met on vacation, People asked Blyth about working on the film. In response, he praised his co-star and compared her to Meg Ryan:
I remember, because my favorite romantic comedy is When Harry Met Sally, and I kept saying, ‘Who’s that – we don’t really have a young modern-day Meg Ryan.’ You know, Meg Ryan is still with us, luckily, we still have Meg Ryan. But we need a new Meg Ryan. Who is the new Meg Ryan? And I thought, ‘I don’t know who that is.’ And then I met Emily [Bader]and I thought ‘Oh, that could be Emily.’
Well, that’s high praise! However, it doesn’t end there. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes the star explained why she thinks Bader is the new Meg Ryan, saying:
She has the quality that could be going off the rails, and you’re still so in love with her. She is so captivating. And she’s so fun within the language of the script, and I think she’ll really do the character justice.
Now I realize I didn’t see Blyth and Bader as Alex and Poppy. However, I’m a big fan of Emily Bader’s other work, and based on the footage we’ve seen of this Emily Henry adaptation, I know her co-star is right.

Alright, allow me to take you back to 2024 and the tragically short-lived series My Lady Janewhich was led by Emily Bader and can be streamed with a Amazon Prime Subscription. Jane was played by PWMOV actress, and she led that fantastic period romance with passion, sass, intelligence and an incredibly quick wit. Do you know who else has all these endearing qualities? Meg Ryan.
Both actresses are incredibly expressive and play their characters with infectious confidence and passion. You really can’t help but fall in love with Jane and her love story, thanks to Bader’s genuine, romantic, and fun performance, as well as her undeniable chemistry with Edward Bluemel, who plays her character’s love interest. You can say exactly the same things about Meg Ryan, her co-stars, and her films in general.
I think Emily Bader has a spark that Meg Ryan also has, and it seems like Tom Blyth knows it too. However, you can also see it on display in the teaser for People we met on vacation:
I can’t help but draw comparisons between Poppy and Sally, even though Bader’s character is much more outgoing and spontaneous than Ryan’s. Boldness and courage are similar to me, and you can see that on display in this trailer if you look at the way Bader’s character reacts to Blyth’s appearance or while eating. Remind you of a specific dinner scene in When Harry met Sally?
Anyway, all of this is to say that Tom Blyth is right. I 100% think Emily Bader has what it takes to be the next generation Meg Ryan. They are unique and incredibly captivating, and I hope People we met on vacation prove this to everyone who doesn’t already know.

Mae Martin doesn’t like chit-chat. After the revealing series Feel goodthe Netflix stand-up special Mae Martin: SAPand click on podcast Beautifulfans think they know the real Mae and want to dive right in. “People come out and spill trauma — and I like that,” they say. “Anyway, I’m not good at small talk, I want to go deep.”
Martin speaks with a mix of humor, warmth and lively energy. His work dealt with, and often found funny, the strange or existential moments of life. “With stand-up, it was a huge turning point in my career when I started talking about real things – my life, addiction and pain,” they say. “People were suddenly fully engaged and laughing more. It’s really rewarding and validating to say the things that make us embarrassed and then have other people say, ‘Yes, me too.’”
Deadline speaks to Martin in Toronto, where they grew up, and it’s a full-circle moment. Years earlier, they were filming outside film premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival with a video camera or getting autographs from stars like Liev Schreiber. This time Martin was on the other side of the barrier at the world premiere festival of Obstinatethe Netflix series they created, produced and starred in. “We filmed the show here,” says Martin. “It’s really about adolescence and I associate Toronto with my adolescence. That was the backdrop to all my misadventures.”
The limited series is about the multi-billion dollar industry of troubled teens and specifically Wayward Pines Academy in the town of Tall Pines. It is an institution that promises to “solve the problem of adolescence”. Wearing formidable glasses, Evelyn (Toni Collette) runs the school and, it seems, perhaps the entire town. The viewers’ point of entry is through Abbie (Sydney Topliffe), whose parents send her to school, and Leila (Alyvia Alyn Lind), her best friend who tries to rescue her; as well as through Alex (Martin), a newly arrived police officer, and his pregnant wife, Laura (Sarah Gadon).
The Abbie-Leila relationship is modeled after Martin and his childhood best friend, who were taken to a school for troubled teenagers. The memory served as inspiration for the series. Martin describes Obstinate as “in essence, a love letter to teenage friendship”.

Netflix
The school’s origins are cult, an area that fascinates Martin. “Cults are a useful metaphor for the complicity we all have and what we are willing to turn a blind eye to in order to have a comfortable life.”
Martin’s previous series Feel goodfor Netflix and Channel 4, it was semi-autobiographical and over two seasons charted the relationship between Mae and George, played by Ghosts star Charlotte Ritchie. It also delved into Mae’s past and her own adolescence. Se Feel good it was a comedy with a powerful dramatic arc, Obstinate turns that formula on its head and is largely a drama with some lighter moments along the way.
“I was interested in creating tension properly,” says Martin of this radical change. “I really wanted to make sure that the funny moments were character-based and truthful, and that any horror and pain were truly deserved.”
Given that Martin had a successful career as a comic book and stand-up comedy writer, it was difficult to laugh at Obstinate“I feel like my inner clown is very close to the surface,” they say. “As I get older, I think, ‘Is this just a series of coping mechanisms? Am I really funny, or is this just a way of interacting with the world?’ I’m still figuring that out.”
Action Points

Michael Gibson/Netflix
When pressed about his dream role, Martin says he wants to be the next James Bond. Maybe the clues were there all along. In Feel goodMartin’s character tells his agent, “I always wanted to be John Wick.” In Obstinatean animated Martin plays cop Alex Dempsey, who cracks a few heads and is deeply involved in the action. “I’m clearly living a fantasy and I don’t know who keeps letting me do this,” they say. “I have perpetual imposter syndrome when it comes to acting, but I really fell in love with doing this show and working with Toni Collette, Sarah Gadon and the cast. I gave myself license to really go for it. It was really fun to release some aggression and play that character with all of her flaws.”
Martin was encouraged to dye his hair a darker shade so that Alex could be taken more seriously. And this character is serious. It has a darkness and yet longing for a happy family home in a perfect setting, which Tall Pines ultimately is not. For Martin, this role felt more like a traditional acting gig where they inhabit a fictional character rather than Feel good where they played a version of themselves.
Martin identifies a pivotal scene midway through the season. “It’s a sex scene between a trans police officer [Alex] and his wife who is eight months pregnant [Laura]. This representation would have meant a lot to me when I was young. It’s such a different thing to see: an eight-month pregnant woman fully clothed and this trans guy.”
For Martin, the fact that Alex is a trans man and “that’s not the most interesting or important thing about his character” on the show was significant. “What this means is that if you’re not preaching, or making it a central element of the show, you can actually be more subversive. Narratively, there’s a lot going on in this scene.”
Martin shares some screen time with Collette, who gives a masterclass in chilling villainy as a school and community leader with a specialty in manipulation. In the wrong hands, Evelyn could have been a pantomime villain, but Collette offers something more complex. “She really got the job done,” says Martin. “Where it could have been a sort of mustache-twirling villain, I think you get the sense that Evelyn really believes in what she’s doing and just has no self-awareness and is something of a narcissist.”
Obstinate Adolescence
Feel good and Obstinate are both produced by Objective Fiction. A creative line of these programs, through SAP Special stand-up, focuses on adolescence and its legacy. “In Feel good there was an adult suing his teenage children and then with SAP In the same way, I was driven by nostalgia and tried to make sense of it all,” says Martin. “I’m trying to understand how visceral those years were for me; all those first times are so intense. When you’re a teenager, everyone’s a mess, but you also know who you are.”
With ObstinateMartin is hopeful that audiences will reflect on their own adolescence. “I wish people would think about their own teenagers. We should absolutely listen to young people more. I don’t think we’ve ever really known what to do with teenagers. We sexualize them, we market to them, we make fun of them, we treat them like children but expect them to be adults. We so desperately need the next generation to save the planet that it would be nice to empower them a little.”
For Martin, it was important that the young cast of Obstinate like Topliffe, Lind, and others felt empowered among experienced artists like Collette, Gadon, and Patrick J. Adams.
“We were already editing the program when I watched [Netflix’s U.K. drama] Adolescence. There’s an episode with about 200 kids at that school, but if you give them that responsibility, or trust people with their character and their intuition, then they really move forward. It was important to me that [the young cast] It felt like they had ownership over the emotional world of their characters.”
Next steps
Publish-ObstinateMartin has a stand-up tour coming soon and projects with Feel good co-creator Joe Hampson in progress. “I miss working with him and we have a few things in development that we’re releasing because we’re desperate to write something funny again,” they say. “We have some good ideas and I’m just trying to attract him to Los Angeles.”
Martin also has his eye on roles created by other writers. “I’ve never been in a movie and I would love to act in someone else’s movie and play someone really different.”
They continue: “I would love to do an Elliott Smith biopic and play him or even play River Phoenix. I would also love to play a villain or do a children’s film.” This might be called keeping his options open, but considering that Martin has written comedies and now dramas, releases music, writes books, co-hosts a popular podcast, and has also started selling his artwork, those ambitions don’t seem lofty. Maybe Bond won’t be so far-fetched.

2025 has already delivered some of the most exciting new TV shows and streaming series, and if you’re wondering what to watch next, Pinkvilla has you covered. From the dark, gothic world of Wednesday’s Season 2 to the high-stakes survival games of Alice in Borderland Season 3 and the bold, satirical superhero drama of Generation V Season 2, these series are shaping up to be unmissable hits. Each show brings something unique to the table, whether it’s suspense, action, or dark comedy, making them perfect additions to your streaming list this year.
Wednesday Season 2 Part 2
I thought Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 was a huge step forward from the first season. The show is darker, the stakes feel higher, and the expanded Addams Family lore adds real depth. Jenna Ortega continues to shine on Wednesday, and her work as executive producer really shows in the consistent tone, design, and look.
The addition of Lady Gaga to the season brings extra talent and excitement. What I particularly liked is how the show balances noir mystery, supernatural twists, and teenage life at Nevermore Academy. The episodes of Part 2: Hyde and Woe Seek, Woe Thyself, Woe Me The Money and This Means Woe, conclude the stories of Part 1, keeping many surprises. If you like dark humor, gothic vibes, and teen drama, similar to Stranger Things or Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, this is a must-see in 2025.
Alice in Borderland Season 3
Alice in Borderland Season 3 continues the high-stakes survival drama as Arisu and Usagi return to a world where the lines between reality and Borderland blur. The season delves deeper into the psychological consequences of gaming, exploring themes of trauma and the lingering effects on characters. While intense action and complex gameplay remain central, emotional depth adds a new layer to the narrative.
The performances are convincing, especially in the calmer and more introspective moments. However, some fans have expressed mixed feelings about the pacing and direction of the plot, with some finding certain elements less engaging than in previous seasons. Overall, Season 3 offers a thought-provoking continuation that will resonate with viewers invested in the series’ intricate world.
Generation V, season 2
Generation V Season 2 picks up the pace with even more intense action and deeper character development. The series expands its satirical take on the superhero genre, introducing new characters and exploring complex moral dilemmas. Jaz Sinclair’s portrayal of Marie continues to be a highlight, with her character facing new challenges that test her ideals and strength. The addition of Hamish Linklater as the new dean brings a new dynamic, adding layers of intrigue and tension.
The season maintains its signature blend of dark humor and hard-hitting social commentary, keeping viewers engaged and excited for what’s next. While some may find the pacing fast, the series continues to be a standout in the superhero genre, offering a unique and compelling narrative.

Disney Night saw Hilaria Baldwin eliminated in Dancing with the stars.
She nailed her dance moves. But the dance competition is actually a popularity contest, and that’s where she fell short.
On stage, Hilaria received the news kindly.
Behind the scenes, however, she reportedly launched a adjust.

According to what the sources say ShuterScoopHilaria Baldwin didn’t take care of herself DWTS elimination with grace.
Supposedly, she “completely lost it” behind the scenes after the news broke.
Hilaria reportedly spared no one her wrath — including producers, judges and husband Alec Baldwin.
Apparently, she accused the producers of “sabotage” in some way.
Wait, what?

As you may remember, Hilaria performed an excellent dance to the song Cantina Jizz by Max Rebo from Star Wars: A New Hope.
Apparently his alleged backstage speech felt that the Star Wars approach to Disney Night was all wrong.
The producers’ supposed “sabotage” was not giving her the right song or choreography.
“She said it wasn’t ‘Disney enough,’” a source reported. “And he blamed Alec’s friends for not voting.”
Star Wars It has been owned by Disney for over a decade. She nailed the choreography. And no one in the world has enough friends to sway a vote like that – least of all Alec Baldwin.

Another alleged witness described Hilaria Baldwin as a “rollercoaster of anger and tears” behind the scenes.
This looks intense and unprofessional!
A third reported feeling real sympathy for the aspiring Real Housewife as she fought to be eliminated.
“It was heartbreaking”, characterized this source.
The source added, “She wanted this to be her moment of redemption.”
For the record, Hilaria’s public reaction to the disappointing news was one of composure and maturity.
“The first night we got here in Los Angeles… I said to my daughter, because I’m very open with my kids, ‘What happens if I get eliminated immediately?’” she told cameras at the time.
Hilaria continued, “She said, ‘Mommy, at least you tried.’ And I hope they always know this: At least I tried.”
Dance partner Gleb Savchenko gushed over her, saying how proud he was of her.
Additionally, the judges praised her dancing skills before the disappointing elimination news.

“This has been an incredible experience,” Hilaria Baldwin publicly expressed. “I am very grateful to all of you.”
She added, “I’m so grateful for my kids and my family.”
With her head held high, she said: “I’m rooting for everyone in the cast. It was an incredible moment.”
We cannot confirm reports of tantrums behind the scenes. However, it’s good to see that if this report is true, she at least managed to keep her outburst out of public view.
Everyone is entitled to their feelings. Maturity is about when and how to express these emotions and making sure you direct them in a healthy way.
